These terms govern your use of tawlah. By using the service you agree to them. Please read them so you know what tawlah does and does not do, and the role of the venue you order from.
Acceptance
By scanning a venue’s QR code and using tawlah to browse, order, or pay, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please order through the venue’s staff instead.
What tawlah is, and is not
tawlah is an ordering and online-payment layer. The venue is the seller and merchant of the food, drinks, and services you order.
tawlah is not the provider of those items and does not prepare, serve, or deliver them · it provides the software that carries your order from your phone to the venue.
Using the service
Scan the QR code at your table on-site, browse the venue’s menu, place your order, and pay if you choose. tawlah is meant to be used while you are seated at the venue, not for remote reservations or bookings.
Pricing and taxes
Prices, taxes, and any service charges are set and displayed by the venue inside tawlah. Please review them before you confirm your order.
Payments
Online payments are handled by third-party payment gateways, and the processing of your card and payment details is governed by those providers’ own terms.
tawlah does not store full card numbers. Online payment is optional · you can pay cash to staff wherever the venue allows it.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations, changes, and refunds are governed by the policy of the venue you ordered from. Please contact the venue directly for any refund request.
Acceptable use
Use tawlah only to place genuine orders. Do not misuse or disrupt the service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to other people’s data.
Intellectual property
The tawlah software, brand, and interface are owned by tawlah. Menu content, images, and item names belong to the venue.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
tawlah is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality of the food or service, which is the responsibility of the venue, nor for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the country where the venue you order from operates.
